Phone Calls in the Social Pane RRS feed

  • Why does a phone call added in the social pane on a account or contact entity automatically save as "Completed"?

    Is there a way to add a phone without having it automatically Completed once the "OK" button is pressed?

  • I think not via the social pane.

    But you can add phone calls via the related items, it is a few more clicks though.

    Click the arrow after the record name in the navigation bar and then the activities tile. In the list then click ADD NEW ACTIVITY and select Phone Call or you can click the + icon on the navigation bar and then the phone call icon but this method doesn't populate the Call To or Regarding fields.
