I don't know if this helps but the message is that "This application failed to initalize properly 0xc0000142. Clikc OK to terminate the application." Under details it lists Appcrash, Explorer.exe, 6.0.6001.18000
I have a blue desktop, no task bar or anything else visible. I was able to use control-alt-delete to access the Windows Task Manager and start IE to get here, but explorer will not start and I don't have any idea how to fix it! I would be grateful for ANY ideas!!
