Installed Office Comm. Server 2007 on closed Network RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am currently installed microsoft comm. 2007 on a server in a closed network, I have tried start the services and they are not responding. I believe it is due to the security certification but I have put a demo key on this server and it has not made any difference. I must be doing something wrong somewhere. Can someone advise me where.

I have pasted a couple of the Logs from the server below:

Office Communications Server Web Conferencing Server could not be started

    Message: Certificate SN empty
       at Microsoft.Rtc.Server.DataMCU.ServiceWorker.StartServer(String[] args)

    Resolution:
Look in previous event logs for more information about this error

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

    and
ould not connect to Active Directory to read configurations settings. Will retry in 30 seconds.

  • Describe your closed network for us. Do you have an AD Domain Controller and an internal certificate authority?

    Thanks
