OCS 2007 Front End Service doesn't start RRS feed

  • Hello Guys,

     

    > I amd new to OCS and two days back I installed OCS 2007 Enterprise Edition and it was working fine. Next day I noticed that all OCS services are stopped and since then I am unable to start any OCS services.

     

    > I am getting the following events in Application Log:

  • Issue is fixed. Unfortunately, I had to recreate and reconfigure the pool.

  • I have exactly the same problem. I installed it yesterday, only in my case it never worked to begin with. Same errors, same service that wont start.

  • After installing OCS Standard my Front-end would also not start, however after installing the windows component of RPC over HTTP proxy, and also turning off the UC server role on Exchange 2007 I was able to get it running.  Now I have other issues....

    Is there more information you can give. on the last post is sounded like you were trying to co-locate ocs with exchange which is not supported from my understanding. There are to many ports and things that conflict with each other.

     

    As far as the first post. I would need more information about the server and OS. and if you have anything else co-located with it.

  • i had the sam problem once, when fron't end service doesn't start, try to change the server certificate, i had to do this twice to get it running.good luck!
