    HI

Could anyone help me i am going round in circles with this problem. I have re-installed windows xp and my sound card is not working i am getting the code 10 connection problem with the yellow sign on it. I have read and tried too many fixes over the last month with no avail.

    . re-loaded sound card drivers
    . re-loaded chipset drivers
    . re-loaded southport drivers
. checked that the bios is set to auto
. re loaded everything thro msconfig

    I am using an onboard device C-MEDIA AC97 SOUNCARD with a 9VIF (ES-675M) - CHAINTECH
    motherboard PM266-8233

This is bugging the life out of me as nothing seems to be working.

    Cheers

  • Hi,
this forum is about the operating system Windows Home Server. So you are here on the wrong place to find support for Windows XP.
You could post your question in the Microsoft Newsgroups for Windows XP.
