Adding Custom application in programs and features list

Need a little direction here. I currently have an app that I wrote a custom installation for. I am wondering the steps needed to get the app to appear in the Programs and Features list in the control panel (Win 7), where I can uninstall the app from there. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Could you provide more details about the installation program you wrote?
