  • I've got the standard message on the bottom right of the desktop saying that my version is invalid.

     

    The web validation says "

  • Have you activated your copy of Vista?

     

    Click the Start "Globe" or Button on the bottom left. Then right-click My computer - and then left click computer properties.

     

    You can then use that screen (at the bottom) to activate your copy of Vista.
