Microsoft Word 2010


  • When I used the formula =SUM(ABOVE) in a table, it would  display the sum of the numbers above. All of a sudden, instead of a sum I get the text =SUM(ABOVE) instead of the number, and I have to right-click it and select  TOGGLE FIELD CODES to get the number displayed.  All my files where I have used this feature, show now the text instead of the number. I don't know how I messed this up, but how can I get Word back to display the sum in the first place?
