Still happening: Validation not returning to download site RRS feed

    Hi

    I still have the same problem, I have gone through this process four times just to make sure

    I unplugged my Network/Internet cable I booted to the install disk and chose Custom install, I formatted three partitions including the big one where I install Vista.

    I installed Vista, added the necessary drivers from the support disk, then installed SP1 and SP2, I then attached a USB Key where I downloaded files from my other PC and installed the latest Defender updates and I made sure Realtime protection was on, I then installed MSE and the latest updates.

    Then I attached the Network/Internet cable and fired up IE7 (default install) I typed in the address of the download page and went through the process of validation before download but had exactly the same result, I was sent to the MS Australia site.

    Now I have no idea where to go, any ideas on this?
