CRM Re-Deployment RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Guys,

I had a crm deployment running, for some reason, we had to format the server so I took a backup of MSCRM_CONFIG and the organization_MSCRM databases.

After formatting and re-installing CRM, I restored both databases from the backup but now I'm facin a "Record Unavailable or you do not have permission to access it" error.

    Can anyone help me out?

    Thank you,

  • Have you tried rebooting the server?

This blog post references CRM 4.0 but if you haven't  yet it might be worth a try.

  • Hi,

Wich user are you using. The same that installed the crm? You can check wich user you used, select the system user table and check what is the first user created. Do you have the permissions to install or reinstall the crm. Check the Implementation Guide.
