  • How do you clean your computer to make it go faster?

  • 1. Compare current processes and services with baseline ones. Do analysis with Sysinternals tools. Uninstall programs that you do not need. Disable services that are not needed. Delete or move files that you do not use. Make sure that you have enough place on c: drive for system to do defragmentation (>15%)

    2. Do not use 3rd pty cleaners.

    3. Replace HDD. Use SSD

    4. Add or replace RAM. Use larger RAM.

    5. Optimize performance

    6. Read recommendations written by Microsoft and reliable vendors, eg.

    7. Consider HW upgrade when current computer cannot satisfy your needs.
