The forum software used here is so buggy.. when asked for registration information I gave my URL as http://www.cmi.ac.in/~arnold which is very much valid... it kept taking me back to the registration page without even telling me what is wrong... after some half an hour of experimenting I figured that the ~ must probably be causing the problem...
As far as I can see, this student rockstar contest sucks.. they expect you to give in months of effort and get at most an Xbox 360 (a PS/3 might have been worth it
)!!?? This is the kind of contests 12th kiddies might be interested in... I guess MS doesn't realize the kind of prizes college's give for intercollege online programming contests that just last few hours.
I'll particpate just for the sake of the algo contest.. I hope it'll be worth it.
