office 2007 product key no longer valid

I used my laptop's restore key to return to its initial state when I purchased it and office ask for product key in order to be valid. I use the 25 digit code written to a microsoft sticker on the back of my laptop and the message suggests a wrong code although it is correct. Whay is this happening and what should I do. Thank you

The product key affixed to your laptop is for Microsoft Windows (the operating system) and not for Microsoft Office. Please see: How do I recover or replace a lost Microsoft Office product key?and/or How to locate your product key or obtain a new product key for Office

Your Office Product Key will be a yellow sticker on the CD Case that the original product was shipped in.

Microsoft uses orange labels for Office product keys, not yellow.
