office 2007 product key no longer valid

I used my laptop's restore key to return to its initial state when I purchased it and office ask for product key in order to be valid. I use the 25 digit code written to a microsoft sticker on the back of my laptop and the message suggests a wrong code although it is correct. Whay is this happening and what should I do. Microsoft uses orange labels for Office product keys, not yellow.
