office validation issue RRS feed

  • I bought the Microsoft Office Professional 2003 and a license for one computer. I reinstalled it on a new computer after my laptop quite working. How do I let microsoft know I know longer use it on the lapotop and only on one new computer...not violating the one user license.  I can not download updates until I can let microsoft know I no longer have it on the first computer. Thanks

    Thank you for posting. Below is the answer :-).  Take care



    1.  Uninstall your version of Microsoft Office from the old PC.

    2.  Install your version of Microsoft Office on the new PC.

    3.  Activate the new installation.  If activation fails via the internet, then select the alternative option to "activate by phone".
