Case Management against Leads RRS feed

    Dear Experts,

    We have an requirement to be able to create Cases against Contacts and Leads. I know CRM allows Case management against only Contacts. However is it possible to have case management against leads ? If yes, please guide how to achieve the same.

    Dear Avneesh,

    Since you intend to use Lead, you need to create a relationship between lead and case and on the case record have a non-required field that is the lead lookup, then when you open a lead record you will see associated cases. Ensure that the relationship is referential between lead and case and not parental.

    However if you convert lead to a contracted customer account, the cases created in respect to lead may not be visible.
