  • Dear Customer,

We're looking at the issue. The error code stands for "Trust validation of the troubleshooting pack failed".

May I know which automated fixes you were trying to run when you saw the error?

  • Hi, do you have an answer on this problem as yet.  I am running the Fix It program and have the same exact error on Windows Vista.  Please advice.

  • Seems to have been about a year since last entry. I am experiencing the same issue. Shows up when asking Fix IT to run the codecs crashes fix and media player fix. is there an answer/fix or does this continue to be one of life's unanswered questios regarding MS Fix IT that doesn't?

  • I got this error - It seemed like I was having a problem reading a CD.  When all else fails, one way I know to fix software problems:

I downloaded the current version of Fixit, de-installed what I had, re-installed it, and the problem was fixed - it was able to run without error.

It seems like there was no problem with the drive, but the CD, as other CDs are readable.  I plan to try it on another computer.
