synctoy 2.1 suddenly wants to delete files; icons changed RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been using synctoy for a while to keep a folder on my laptop synchronised with my staff filestore, connecting via vpn.  It has suddenly decided that it should delete a couple of hundred files from the laptop, though the files in question are still present, unchanged by me on either disk.  The only thing I can see is that on the network filestore, the file icons have changed, they now have a little black box in the bottom left hand corner, with what looks like an analogue clock showing 5 o'clock in white.  Which files have been so changed appears random.  Any ideas?

  • I am experiencing the same thing.  Apparently the Black Clock icon means it has been archived on the server because the file has not been accessed for awhile.  What i would like to know is how can i, either remove this archived status or set synctoy so it knows it still needs to copy it and not delete it.
