Microsoft Money Plus Activation Key Not Connecting to Server RRS feed

    I recently bought a new laptop and am trying to install MS Money Plus onto it.  I ordered it back in 2009 online and received the CD and email containing my order info, including the product key etc...  I get to the screen where it asks me to click Activate.  When I do, it says that it can not find the server, or I'm not connected to it.  I am connected to the internet, I lowered my security settings, cleaned out my temporary files, still no luck.  I'm running IE 7 right now with plans to upgrade to IE 8 or 9.  Any suggestions on how to activate this program before the 60 days expires?

    Microsoft no longer supports MS Money.  You aren't reaching the server because there is no server to check your install Key.  Solution:  Download and install MS Money Sunset version.  This is the same as your version for free and does not require activation.  Also has no Microsoft support.

    Good Luck.  It worked with my old Win95 MS Money Files.

    I just read your responses!  What happens after the 60 day period?  Will I still be able to use the program?
