Streets & Trips 2008 won't run... RRS feed

    The other day Streets & Trips 2008 suddenly stopped opening on my Dell D620 ATG running XP Pro. I click on the icon and I get the hourglass for a few seconds and the sounds as if the computer is processing the command, then it all stops without the program running.  Nothing locks up elsewhere on the system; the program simply does not start. I've completely uninstalled it, rebooted and reinstalled it several times but it still does not correct the problem.  Any thoughts? The version I'm running is 2008 - waiting for 2011 to be released before I update.

    try find support options on support.microsoft.com. this forum is for a class library that can only used in writing software.
