Integrate Sharepoint 2013 With Sql Server 2012 RRS feed

  • Question

  • i'm working on system now which contains alot of data need to make analysis on it for creating Reports.

to summaries system it's employee performance system , each employee on department fill scores per year quarter then i have to create reports based on these filled scores like : total score for specific crriteria across organization , average scores for employees over quarters , etc...

first of all i tried many ways to get required reports

1- Views : it's is not applicable on my current business ad i need to join multiple sharepoint lists and create results based on user filters with different calculation.

2- Report Builder : i can generated charts and reports using Report Builder designer but i have problem i need to get a result of client filteration as data source to view it in specific interface to end user which i can not do it using Report Builder.

3- Performance point : it would be useful if you are storing data on Sql DataBase not Sharepoint Lists, because it's power focus on sql data source and only thing you can do as sharepoint list data source is KPI and Score card , but i need more than that.

4- power pivot : it need to integrat and view as Excel , it's not meet my business need.

5- SSIS Sharepoint integration : i think it would be better if i can configure SSIS with sharepoint to get data from Lists as source and save it on Sql Table as destination then with some of BI reports or cubes i can get reports needed for end user .

i searched on how to configure SSIS 2012 wirh sharepoint 2013 with no help , i only found SSIS 2008 R2 with Sharepoint 2010 or 2013.

Do you know steps how to configure SSIS of Sql server 2012 on Sharepoint 2013 ?

Appreciated if you have suggestion for another way to create reports with free customizing results for end user without any limitatoin.
