  • Question

  • Well hi all :) I would like to ask if it's possible to upgrade my 70-270 to a 7 certification, even if I have to go via a Vista one. Thanks a lot. Said Khammar. French Microsoft Premier Team

  • There isn't an upgrade or update to obtain the MCTS for Windows 7.  Simply study for and take the 70-680 exam.

  • Hi Said,

    Its not possible to upgrade from 70-270 (MCP) to win 7 (MCTS) . To upgrade to Win 7 MCITP, you'll need at least MCDST (70-271+70-270) and take the upgrade exam for windows 7 (70-682).By taking this 3 exams, u'll gain the following credentials;

    (70-271 + 70-272) Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician

    (70-680) MCTS: Windows 7, Configuration

    (70-685) MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician Windows 7

    hope this helps.
