Cannot get validation on new Office Small Business 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I had a copy of 2007 Professional which was purchased overseas and declared not genuine. So I uninstalled the Office 2007 program, then reinstalled the old genuine Office prof 2003. Then I used a newly purchased Office Small Business 2007 upgrade.  I tried to complete the installation, and it said iot was complete. However, it did not go to registration with Microsoft. When I tried to use MS Word, it said it was not genuine.

how do I get the upgrade to work so I can solve this problem and get my 2010 automatic upgrade. Office Max, where I just purchased the new software upgrade and discussed the problem, said the new software was eligable for the 2010 program as soon as it came out.
