"This slide couldn't be downloaded" when using lync client out of domain

  when I share powerpoint slides with a client within the domain with one out, does not work, the following message appears:

  "This slide couldn't be downloaded"

  but a client within the domain to another within the domain, it works perfect.
  
  why??
