Statusing Web Service with Impersonation

Question

Hi,
since here is now a dedicated dev forum. I'd like to re-raise the questions if you could provide some guidance to how migrate existing applications that use the statusing web service with impersonation.
Thanks for any, even the smalles advice
John

John,
I cannot offer any impersonation-specific advice at this time because the Public Beta of Project Server 2010 does not include any impersonation functionality, though this feature will be present in the final RTM version.
That being said, you can find some general guidance for migrating 2007 applications to 2010 in the December 2009 Project 2010 Beta SDK.

JDC - I'd also suggest reviewing the Statusing WS in the Beta SDK as we have added impersonation-free api to make it easier to interact on behalf of multiple users.
Good call, Patrick.

John,
New articles have been posted to MSDN since I replied to your question.
Take a look at How to: Use Impersonation with WCF and Walkthrough: Developing PSI Applications Using WCF.
Note that in both of these articles, you'll want to reference the annotations at the bottom of the article.
