Lost Registered Vista SP1 Promotional kit key RRS feed

    I have promptly registered my Vist Sp1 Promotional kit under the PIN -----XXY and I was using it for almost two years now. Unfortuantely my PC is "broken" and I need to reinstall it. How I can retrieve the registered key? Do you have a database where I can input my email or the PIN and retrieve the registered key?

    The site www.registerwindowsvistasp1.com is down. However I don't need to register, I have done so, I just want to retrieve my registration data /key!

    Thank You. I had already checked this. I was thinking a link to a web database to recover my lost registration key. Thanks anyway.

    Unfortunatly, we do not have a Database that can tell us what key belongs to what customer.

     Due to privacy concerns, Microsoft is not allowed to link a product key to it's owner.  Microsoft does have a database of Product keys and we also have a database of users that have registered thier software, but those two databases are not linked in any way.

      The only courses of action, that I can recommend, are those listed in the support doc that Carey linked to.
