Installing CRM 2011 Outlook Client RRS feed

  • Question

  • I try to install CRM 2011 outlook client on my machine. After the installation is complete, I try to configure it, which I have tried using Configure Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook through Outlook and through Microsoft Dynamics Configuration wizard. I can find the server and Organization, but it errors everytime I configure the organization. I get two errors, one is there is a problem communicationg with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server. Servier might be unavailable. The other error says that it cannot configure with organization, for Outlook, try to configure the organization again. I checked windows authentiucate through IIS, using Negociate and NTLM. the date, time are sync between the server and workstations. I'm using port 8080 for CRM. It's under single binding HTTP. Is there something else I'm missing in the setup. I get Keberos error in the event log. I can access the CRM thourgh the web browser

  • The problem is allways that you didnt update your client to the latest roll up.

If your server is roll up 12 or later and your client is a previous roll-up, then they wont connect..

So update your client by downloading latest roll up and try again.

Link to roll up is here: http://www.microsoft.com/da-dk/download/details.aspx?id=37133

Please mark as answered if it helped.
