Cannot create a Workflow with the Response Group Config Tool RRS feed

  • Question

  • Running OCS standard 2007 R2 on a Windows 2008 x64

I wanted to give the REsponse Group Service Tool a try:

    - Created an agent
    - Create an agent Group
    - Create a Queue
    - Create a Holiday set

I then created a Contact Object using the RGSCOT.exe command line tool.

    So far so good.

Then I went to the web Page: "Response Group configuration Tool" :  https://server.contoso.com/rgs/deploy/default.aspx

But all I see is the Response Group configuation Tool Web page....with no option the create a New Workflow.

I see : "Click the Edit link next to the workflow you wish to manage"   but I don't see any links???

    thanks for any help

    JP

  • Hi,

    I had the same issue.

My solution has been to add my account in "RTCUniversalServerAdmin" Group.

  • Are you using integrated authentication to logon to that web page?
You should not put the URL in local intranet settings in IE

Logon with explicit credentials (that worked for me)
I think its because of double hop issues

  • Hi Deli,

I tried login in from my vista Workstation, locally on the server (tried the site with and without being in the Local Intranet") , and from another server.
I have the same symtom everywhere.

I am able to log in and I do see the Web page....I just cannot do anything?

I can see the header :
Active, WorkFlow Name, TEmplate, Adress, Language, Action

    But thats it.

    any clue?

    Thanks
