    Hi

    I really appreciate if someone can lead me to right direction. 

    My company took over an external company which has a huge infra environment.  Currently it has 1000 users and has its own core services such as AD, DNS,DHCP, Cloud etc. 

    we came to a phase where we need to start discussing technical design and documentation to integrate AD, DNS, DHCP with parent company. 

    its one of the biggest merger ever happened in my country so not many companies have experience to tackle it not even IBM who is our managed services provider. 

    i would really like to read article or documentation if available "best practice and things to consider for merging two companies infra"? 

    someone help us me to start off....

    This forum's name is "TechNet Wiki Discussion". If you are asking about articles in the TechNet Wiki on these topic then you can use the search box in the TechNet Wiki.

    If you need help in topics like AD, DNS, DHCP then you can go to the relevant forums of each one of these topics.

    * In any case, Your question is too vague and basically it mean to get a full course on these topics which can take several months and not fit for single thread in the forum. You might find better solution if you focus on one topic at a time, for example "merging AD", "Merging SQL Server databases", "Merging DHCT servers", and so on... the problem is that the final decision must be made based on all aspects and not on one topic at a time... last decision must be made by someone who is fully familiar with both system. It probably worth the cost of learning both system fully by the person who in-charge on the merging

    I think that he is looking for article and not for answer to question, based on this "i would really like to read article or documentation if available" (not sure)

    I found a lot of articles in the TechNet Wiki regarding AD, DNS, DHCP but none that bring something like: best practice for migrating.

    With that being said, using google I found lots of posts in blogs regarding these topics separately. For example when I searched for: merging active domain the first result I got was this one and there are many more posts.

    I tried several searching in the TN Wiki like bellow - you can try to go over the result and make some more searching:

    Richard, I found many articles related to AD which you wrote. It seems like this is your field😃. Any option you summarize the topic in new article? It sound like very useful topic.
