  • Question

  • Is there any way to work-around the OS check in the install? I need to install on a server OS... Thanks...

  • You can use '-Force' command line option to skip the OS version check.

  • Hi,

Unfortunately, Server SKUs are not supported at this time.  They will, however, be supported in the future.

    Thanks,

    Ben.

  • Yep, I'd like to see this too.  I don't want "support", I just want to bypass the install check ;-)  Want to switch most of my machines to 2k8 as it is so much nicer than vista, and really, this is the only thing holding me back.  I am hooked on Live Mesh!

  • Works @ 100% for me! Just add live.login.com and mesh.com to your IE trusted sites list, and boot up the beta installer. Running on a 32bit standard installation.
