retarded powersetting put computer to sleep in middle of a backup!

Question
-
i run a pc repair shop so i see windows, erm "at its finest" ??? haha.
windows 7 regularly go to sleep in the middle of maintinance, or while programs ARE RUNNING
particularly when im setting up backup scheams for my customers and do backups the computers regularly go to sleep.
and im a mcse/mcp.
all "the settings" dont tell microsoft not to be idiots its either go to sleep in the middle of whatever when the pc feels like it or dont ever go to sleep.
no wonder people like macs.

I can't get the idea why this post would fit the topic of "Suggestions and Feedback for the Forums". While I understand that you are frustrated, it's not an excuse to ignore forum rules. Btw, it seems that the backup program you're using needs to fix the bug for not calling this API before the backup begins. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa373208(v=vs.85).aspxWednesday, December 7, 2011 4:27 AM

microsoft backup cant report to microsoft windows its mid-backup???
what a m$ad world that is.
they dont seam to see this as a bug so its feedback... right?
i mean, this is one of 10,000 windows bugs (im calling it a bug as a user so dont tell me its not) that makes people stop using traditional computers, M$ seams just happy getting there proverbial you know what handed to them. but they need to know why there brand is being tarnished, if they dont care after THAT point, they deserve the low-ratings and poor stock performance that will come with any company too big for its own good.- Edited by justin k pc Wednesday, October 23, 2013 11:21 PM
