Hello,
I have users who legitimately need access to sales etc. but we want to really simplify the interface. We have them opening to the dashboard and then ribbon customizations that provide buttons to just the areas needed.
Again with the thought of simplifying the interface I was going to limit access to the main navigation area (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc) to just admins.
According to the sdk if I block the users access to the entity it will not display that main area....but they need access to that entity.
If I comment out those areas in the sitemap then admins will no longer be able to use them either.
So it seems that we have two choices:
1. Comment out sitemap and create custom navigation buttons for admins to get back to those areas
or
2. Leave it alone and try to train people--- "you no clickey here"
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
