Can not join my network. Windows 7 says password isn't correct. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Greetings,

I've replaced the hard drive in my desktop and installed Windows 7 Premium.  That's OK.

Problem, I have my network, and somehow computers don't have permission to place any files on my desktop.  Yet, under 'Network and Sharing Center', it shows network as 'Network'.  The other computers show 'Kirk' my network.

Under 'System Properties', I have changed to 'Kirk'.

I've tried to change network by putting my network password, that I got from the other computer on my network, and Windows says the password is not correct.

I can not find anyplace where that I can change to my network.

Do I need to do an reinstall?
