Coalescing of news events seems to have gone too far the other way

  Agreed. Mine is doing the same. Added two files, no news. Added another two 12 hours later, still no news. Renamed and deleted some files, still nothing.
  
  It's not syncing to the Live Desktop, just across two PCs on my network. Not sure if that makes a difference.

  We had an issue with this over the weekend, but it should have been resolved.  Can you confirm that events began showing up in the Live Mesh news feed again?  This would be for changes made to Live Mesh folders after ~9PM PST Sunday, July 13th (you may not see any news events for changes you made over the weekend).
  
  If you're still not seeing news events today, please let me know.
