Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this. My desktop icons have a grey rectangular box around them. This happened while I was playing maplestory, I was trying to say something to another player and it wouldn't go into the textbox. The keyboard keys worked, but not when i tried typing them into the chatbox. Then I closed Maplestory, and i started testing if the keys worked in any other textboxes. I tried opening an application the white grey box came around it. Eventually, it came around several icons. I have tried rebooting, making sure my shift or caps lock button isn't stuck, checked all the settings for the desktop. Also, ever since this happened my Malwarebytes' Anti Malware icon got a lot darker. Also, my Call of duty 4 modern warfare icons changed. I dont think this is a virus, I have Avast! internet security 5 and Malwarebytes' with protection module. I tried running scans, they detected nothing. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated
