What control in .net is the Lighted Radio Button? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am developing an Add-in and wish to use the lighted radio button type control.  It enabled you to have a label with an image to the left that looks like a radio button selection but can be lit green or red (and possibly yellow).

Which DLL is this control in and what is it called?

    Many thanks,

  • Can you post a screenshot of what you're talking about, Al?

There isn't a lighted radio button control in WHS, but there are red/green/yellow button images that are used all over the place. They're not part of a specific control, though, and they don't have radio-button functionality baked in.

  • Ah yes I should have given an example.  In say the server storage tab, under status it will read [O] Healthy.  Now that you've hinted on it's not a radio button I can start trying to look where these images may be.

  • In that case Sam is correct, what you are seeing isn't a RadioButton but a bit of built in and undocumented art, take a look at this blog post on how to use it.
