  • Hi,

    I had install window 7 ultimate to replace Vista ultimate. After installation and  window 7 ultimate was running fine untill I got automatic update. It mess everything up, I have uninstall and reinstall window 7 ulitimate again. After reinstalling window 7 and other softwares,  I got message stating the installed window 7 ultimate is not authentic and can not be validated. I tried to used the key which i got from action pack. no luck. The action pack key for Window 7 ultimate is not good. Is it possible to get another key for Window 7 ultimate to save what i had install on this computer?

    As I had installed Window 7 ultimate it will not let me installed window 7 professional over the window 7 ultimate. What should I to save reinstalling everything?

    To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
    Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
    To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.

    Colin Barnhorst Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on DIY with 6GB ram.
