Data migration manager - where is error log? RRS feed

  • I'm trying to upload data to CRM, but i get an error:
    "An error has occurred. Please see the log file for more information"

    Where can i find error log file?

  • If I remember correctly, C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Data Migration folder.  You might have to search around in there.  If it's not in this folder, it will be under AppData folder.


    You can alway do a CRM trace, it will tell you what's wrong with the import. The trace file is under C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Trace folder.

    1.  i couldn't find this folder, can you please look it up?

    2. Thank you, i found an error there!  I couldn't understand it (in stack trace i found: "MessageProcessor fail to process message 'Create' for 'customeraddress'."), but at least i found it. Thank you once more!
