    I purchased a new PC and live onecare.  Before I could activae the software(while it was still in its free trial mode) the box was thrown away along with my product activation code.  I have the receipt for the software.  I have not been able to get anywhere where I can find an email address or a phone number to contact Windows about getting an activation code and what proof I need to supply to get one.  I really hate to spend $50 a second time around.  can anyone point me in the right direction as how to contact windows anbout my problem.

    Andy, I'm sorry to say that I suspect that there is no way for you to get a replacement key since you have no record of what that key was and it was not used to activate.

    However, you may want to look into the current offer at Amazon where you can get OneCare free after rebate.
