Off Topic:Internet Explorer 6 on Windows 2000 and Service pack 4

  Hi,

   

  I recently have been having problems with IE6.  Doing a search makes the browser hang up and I can access only a few web sites.  I think a file has been corrupted and I want to uinstall/re-install IE6 but can't find any information on how to do this without uninstalling Service pack 4.  Apparently microsoft suggest not to reinstall the service pack after re-installing IE6 as this will prevent IE from ever being unistalled.  I tried unistalling IE6 from the uninstall folder but that didn't work.  Any help will be appreciated.
