Obtaining a printed MCP certificate RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was in a friends office the other day and noticed that he had an actual MCP certificate on display.  I became an MCP in 2011 but never received a printed MCP certificate.   How can I get a printed MCP certificate?

I've tried to visit the MCP site but it only puts me into Microsoft Learning and there are not related options there. I've also visited the Certiport site but that only provides copies of each exam's certifications.

  • Several years ago, Microsoft mailed to you a printed certificate along with other goodies (such as a wallet card) when you got a new certification. But now they no longer send this welcome package. If you want a printed certificate, you need to either download the PDF or XPS file and print it yourself, or pay to have it sent to you (If I recall correctly, it costs somewhere around $10). Both options can be accessed from the MCP portal (www.microsoft.com/mcp) after you login with the liveId that is associated with your MCP.

  • Hi,

If you go to: https://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/dashboard.aspx you should see your dashboard. 2011 well that's a while back. What did you certify in to become an MCP? MOS means you have to be at Certiport if you took a technical exam you should see the option to purchase your cerificate.

  • Hi

You can download your Transcript and certificate using different format for free but for the hard copy you need to purchase the same.

All the details are available in the MCP site.

  • There is an update to this thread.

I am coping Maze's answer from training support

    Hi,

Please note that beginning November 1, 2018, Microsoft Certified Professionals will no longer be able to download logos or purchase certificates or wallet cards from Certification Marketplace.

However, you can still “download” your certifications from your MCP dashboard. Please stay tuned to the learning webpage for any updates or changes.

    Thanks,
