Customer access licensing on AX Enterprise Portal RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We have a client that will use enterprise portal, mostly their customers will access the Portal on placing their Sales Orders and Service Orders. The questions would be:

     1. Will they have to buy license for each customers who will place orders on the portal?

     2. Is there also a need of specific license for customers who will view the list of projects in Portal?

     3. Just in case license is needed in placing orders through portal, and our client opted not to buy a license for that, how can their customer access the portal? and up to what extent their customers can use the portal.

                - some says for a third party to access/transact in the portal each customer must have a license, and some says it is not needed. Just need some clear information about these.
