Tab Test Loader RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Given some of my early difficulties with getting my tab to load in the Server Console (due to me not understanding exactly how it found assemblies and how unforgiving it was) I wrote this little quick and dirty test loader that will conduct many of the same checks as the Server Console will, only this one is far easier to use on the debugging machine and give you a better (and quicker) idea of why your tab may not be loading.

In order to use it you've got two choices, you can either run it (source included) and use the Load Assembly button to specify the assembly to load, or you can pass the file name (with path) to the assembly as an argument on startup.

Note: Not all tabs work in this app as some require more services or files than you are likely to have on your client, nor do they look as pretty as they will in the Server Console when loaded with the appropriate resource file.
