Edit permission restriction on contents of shared folder

  Hi All,

  Im on windows server 2008 and i have a shared folder. On this shared folder users should paste files but once pasted in this folder they should not have authorization for editing files. I have tried but its inheriting permissions from parent only.One user can add documents if he is added as contributor or co-owner. 

  Is it possible to restrict like this.
