Qualifying a lead triggers Account post create twice RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I wrote a CRM plugin that writes some account info to a SharePoint list on post create (I need the account ID).
    This works nicely when you create an account yourself, the plugin triggers and writes to the SharePoint list correctly.
    However, when you qualify a lead, I see two rows appearing in my SharePoint list, so the code triggers twice. The rows have a different account ID, if you search on these ID's in CRM, one leads to the newly created account from the lead, the other doesn't exist.

    I'm guessing it has something to do with the duplicate detection, as my code also triggers when the duplicate detection screen pops up after qualifying. Could it be that CRM creates a temp account that it needs for it's duplicate detection logic? And if yes, how do I detect this? As I obviously don't want my logic to handle these temporary accounts.

    I'm using CRM 2013 on-premise, thanks in advance!
