Windows 7 Ultimate now blocked by MS

Question
-
Having struggled on for a year with XP on a new quad core with 4gb memory, last December after a total HD failure I bought a couple of new 1tb drives - & W7 Ultimate (on eBay). It was the full retail boxed version, two disks (32 & 64bit), CoA seal on box, guaranteed genuine. Installed fine, activated OK - and ever since installation it has been duly downloading updates & hotfixes; but last night I found a black screen and message from MS to say that the copy is not genuine (all of a sudden!). I have tried to reactivate and also followed some of the other tips on this forum for getting round this problem - but to no avail. Apparently, it has been blocked on the MS servers - & I see that many other purchasers of genuine W7 Ult are having the same problem. Help!

"...& I see that many other purchasers of genuine W7 Ult are having the same problem."
No purchasers of genuine Windows 7 Ultimate are having the same problem. They are having different problems but yours is that your copy is not genuine. Your Product ID line shows that you are using an MSDN product key. Since you are not the subscriber who was issued this product key, it is invalid for your use.
Windows Product ID: 00426-068-3022133-86507
The 068 is the MSDN indicator. It is not possible for an MSDN product key to be printed on the yellow label on the card inside a genuine retail box. Your retail box and its contents is a counterfeit product.
Many counterfeit copies are being sold on eBay and the Amazon Marketplace as well as various websites around the world. The product key is not a genuine retail PK. It is a genuine MSDN product key and so activated and passed as genuine until it was blocked by Microsoft as an MSDN key in use by a nonsubscriber. It takes a while for MS to detect and complete processing of abused keys. The seller planned to be doing something else by then.
Pursue a refund for an item not as described immediately. Do not accept a replacement product key from the seller. It will be from the same source.

Buy a copy of Windows from a rock solid seller like the Microsoft Store or Amazon Corp (not an affiliate).
