Replace search with custom search in Unified Service desk CRM 2013 RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I am new to Unified service desk. I have a requirement where i need to replace classic search comes with USD with a custom page of my own. 

    Is this is possible? And also i am not sure how to debug a session web page? 

    Can some body guide on this.

  • What do you mean by Session Web Page ? If it is a simple webpage and you want to debug your Javascript, you can use Developer tools. If you have to search for Code behind, You can use the same ASP.NET technique of debugging web pages.

  • if you are using visual studio press Ctrl+Alt+p , before attaching the process to the page there will be a "select" button click that and uncheck "Manged .... " option and select the "script" then attach to the unifiedservicedesk.exe process. you should be able to see all the web pages and js loaded in the process now in solution window.. from there you can debug on.. few techniques to use is attaching it at the right stage so that you get what you want to debug  hope this helps.
