HDD failed, didn't make back up disk. Using my old HDD. How do I get back windows 7

Question

Hey i was running
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
on my samsung NP350V5C-S01CA laptop.
My HDD failed and i didn't create a boot up disk. So I grabbed my old hdd from my other laptop and i'm currently running windows vista home premium.
My windows sticker is also blurred so i can't read the product key.
I called microsoft, they told me its a manufactoreirs problem. So i contacted samsung, they said i have no choice to have the laptop serviced.
I've read that its a tricky problem because only oem windows would work on this laptop, that if i just buy another windows it might cause a "ungenuine flag". Is it possible just to run the "recover solution (f4 on start up)" and erase the whole thing to factory state, and then the laptop would turn this HDD into a windows 7 oem?
I'm kinda tech savy so please feel free to let me know other solutions.

You've changed hard drives so the F4 option won't work. It relies on the Recovery Partition which is on the old HD. You can order a Recovery CD from Samsung which will set it to the Factory State without needing the Recovery Partition.
