Wrong e-mail validation rule for invite

Question
-
Hello all!
I am trying to invite someone to my mesh for folder sync but I get ths error:
Please enter e-mail addresses in the form of someone@example.com
Multiple e-mail addreses cab be separated using a semicolon
Please update:
"
ioriyagam_2001_@hotmail.com"
Address is ioriyagam_2001_@hotmail.com, this is a valid hotmail and Windows Live account but it cannot be validated for Mesh invite. I think there is an error in e-mail validation (probably in regular expressio string). I tried entering the address with quotes, with a semicolon and with differents permissions but no luck at all. If you want you can try to invite this adress to see the error message by yourself.
Anybody has experimented this issue before? Is there a workarround to invite this windows live account?
Regards,
Patricio Campos

Hello Patricio, I sent the invitation directly from the folder on my Live Desktop. I am also using W7 x64 and the same build of Live Mesh as you are.

I already sent the bug report and Microsft replied fast!

Thank you for your feedback. There is a known issue where email addresses with an underscore just before the @ cannot be used, for example: sample_@microsoft.com.
Sharing a Live Mesh folder does not requiring sending the invitation to the friend's Windows Live ID, it only requires the friend receives and clicks the invitation's link. Please send the invitation to an alternate email address and then forward the email to your friend. The first person to click the link will have access to the folder.
So, it is a known bug woth e-mail address validation.
Great support for a beta product, don't you think?

I have sent an invitation and it is pending. I don't know why you are seeing that error message so I suggest submitting a bug report with logs. How to submit a bug report - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en/LiveMesh/thread/d52b350a-f3e0-41c6-8e78-d6378e566b9e

Really? Can you tell me how did you sent the invitation and what version of Live Mesh are you using? I am using version 0.9.4014.7 and I am trying to invite using the Live Mesh panel inside the shared folder.
I forgot to mention I am using Windows 7 x64.
This is the screen capture for the error:

Thank you very much for your reply.

You are welcome. You should also be able to send an invitation directly from your Windows Desktop so I suggest submitting a bug report with logs. How to submit a bug report - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en/LiveMesh/thread/d52b350a-f3e0-41c6-8e78-d6378e566b9e

I'm glad that you received a reply so quickly on this one. Great to have a workaround, too.
