Access to Users external to our network

Question
-
Hi,
How can we use EPM implementation in my organization for Users who are not in our network;
i mean external users (Ex: I work in company X and users are all authenticated through Windows NT. If a client is working on the project form company Y; and who does not have access to our company's (X) network but involved in our projects tracked by us in EPM. Can we still be able to give him access to EPM (PWA or Professional) if he is not in our network. Please help
Thanksmp

Correct this scenario is fully supported and commonly implemented by customers, for Project Server 2010 check this TechNet article:Plan for authentication in Project Server 2010http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee922606.aspx

I believe you might be able to use the Forms-based authentication for those users, where you generate an username and password to be used with the site.Tuesday, July 13, 2010 1:26 PM

If we are already using 2007 version please advise what would be the workaround to provide access to external users out of our network
Thanks
