    How do you get to have the Bing translate in Facebook to work

    Hi Gary,

    you don't need to do anything. Facebook will offer a "See translation" link right under the foreign language post, when it detects a mismatch between the language of the other person's post and what Facebook considers your own language, and Bing Translator offers a translation for this pair.

    Hi Chris,

    The function used to work in Facebook but about a month ago the "See Translate"  link does not appear under the foreign language (mandarin) post.  What else do I need to do to that working again?  Thanks.

    We have noticed that for some posts, Facebook's language detection algorithm isn't noticing a different language, and as such isn't presenting the link. We are working with Facebook to resolve this. This isn't a translator issue, so I would also recommend escalating with Facebook directly.
